STATE OF THE MARKETS
Markets are pricing and repricing the outcome of the US election. Major US indexes continue to climb as Dollar lost ground when market was pricing a “Blue Sweep” in the early count of the US election. Nevertheless, the Red was not giving up so easy as later votes counted a come back and Dollar rebounded on that note. 10Y yield was down 1 basis point as demand for more US bond drive price higher with more than $120b flows into the US treasuries.
Crude continue to climb close to $38.80 before monster order worth $38.7m hit the book around $38.70 and another block worth $10.4m standing to be filled at $41.75, while gold face a whipsaw as market was pricing and repricing the outcome of the US election. As of this writing around 11pm EST, the Red continue to gain ground and medium and short-term Yen has turned bearish to support the Greenback.
Long term accounts continue to hold the safe-haven Yen while short and medium term looks ready to embrace any unexpected outcome that might not come as early as markets would hope. Any contested results would see flight to safety remains bid.
